NITO started with a presentation that bombed.
I was a Director at American Express, presenting a digital transformation plan to a room of senior leaders. The idea wasn’t wrong.
So I went to work on it — not for a quarter, for years. Five on communication alone, rebuilt dimension by dimension. Three on strategic thinking, several more on leadership and influencing. Over the next decade those skills did more for my career than any qualification I held, and eventually took me to Chief Marketing Officer of TD Bank Canada.
Which left me with a question I couldn’t put down. Why did I have to piece this together on my own? Why is there no structured program for the skills that actually decide whether a career goes anywhere?
Then AI arrived and made the question urgent. The technical skills everyone invests in are the ones going obsolete fastest. The human ones — thinking, communicating, influencing, leading — are the ones that survive. Almost nobody is being taught them on purpose.
NITO is my answer to that question.

What NITO won’t do.
We don't sell recordings
We don't promise placements
We don't run 50-person batches
We don't teach what we haven't practised
Three times in 35 years,
we’ve taught it First.
The first institute in the country to teach graphics, animation and multimedia — years before the industry that would hire those students existed.
Today: UI/UX and graphic design, taught largely online.

Founded to “discover and develop the designer in you” — the first institute preparing Indian students for design degree entrances, when almost nobody treated design as a serious career.
Today: India's leader in NID, NIFT, NATA, CEED and UCEED coaching.

The first comprehensive future-skills institute in India — building the human and cognitive skills that decide careers in the AI age, structured as a real curriculum rather than content.
Today: Four live programs, twenty planned across five skill domains.
One question, held against everything.
